Acceptable use policy

SongHearts makes personal songs as gifts. To keep it that way, the following content is not allowed in your input or in edited lyrics.

Not allowed

1. Sexual content, innuendo and pornography.
2. Violence, threats and glorifying crime.
3. Hate and discrimination based on origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or other characteristics.
4. Child safety: any sexualisation of minors. For children’s songs, only use a first name, no addresses or schools.
5. Impersonation and deception: songs in the style or voice of real artists or bands, songs that put words into a real person’s mouth, and songs about politicians or other public figures.
6. Copyright and trademarks: existing lyrics, known melodies, advertising slogans and brand names.

How we check

Every input and edited lyric is checked automatically with word lists (for example names of well-known artists and politicians) and the classifier Llama Guard 3 (Meta), via Cloudflare Workers AI. Rejected input is logged with the reason. Reported songs are reviewed by hand.

Consequences

We refuse to create the song, block affected songs and links, and exclude repeat offenders.

Transparency

Lyrics are written by Gemma 4 (Google), via Cloudflare Workers AI; music and vocals are generated by Mureka (Skywork AI). All songs are labelled as AI-generated.
