Why a song makes a great last-minute Christmas gift

Most presents under the tree are forgotten by New Year. A song with their name, your family traditions and a moment from this year gets played at the gift opening, shared in the family chat and brought out again next December.

It is delivered digitally, so there is no shipping and no delivery deadline. That makes it one of the few gifts that is both personal and instant, especially for grandparents or friends who live far away.

What to write about them

Three to five sentences are enough. Specific details make the song feel personal:

  • Your family tradition: baking cookies, the Christmas Eve dinner, the walk on Christmas morning.
  • Something that happened this year: a move, a trip, a new family member.
  • A typical habit: the reindeer sweater, singing too loud, the fight over the tree topper.
  • What you wish them for the new year, or what you want to thank them for.
  • Nicknames, if they should appear in the song.

What a chorus can sound like

An example for Emily, who makes the best hot cocoa:

Example
[Chorus] Merry Christmas, Emily, the lights are aglow, there's cocoa on the stove and the radio's low. Of all of the presents beneath our tree, you're still the best gift that was given to me.

Example with an invented name. Your lyrics are written from your answers and you can edit every line before the song is recorded.

How it works

From the first sentence to the finished song usually takes less than ten minutes. No account needed.

  1. Tell us about them

Name, occasion and a few sentences about the person, plus style, voice and language. Takes two or three minutes.

  2. Read and edit the lyrics

Rhymed lyrics with their name appear in seconds. Change any line before anything is recorded.

  3. Pay, then listen

Happy with the lyrics? Pay once, and one to three minutes later your song is ready to play and download. Not happy? Free re-recording within 30 days, money back within 14 days.

Ways to give it

  • Play it on a speaker before the other presents are opened.
  • Print the share link as a QR code inside a Christmas card.
  • Surprise grandparents on a video call and listen together.
  • Add the printable lyrics poster (Premium) under the tree.

A new melody, not a cover of a classic

Every song is newly composed. We never use the melody or lyrics of existing Christmas songs and never imitate real singers. You pick the style instead: piano ballad, acoustic guitar, upbeat pop and more. Songs are available in English, German, French and Spanish.

Pricing

You pay once per song. No subscription, no hidden fees. You read the lyrics for free first; then you get a free re-recording for 30 days and a 14-day money-back guarantee.
